One day She went off to school with a cartoon flyer with the story of Jesus. I explained to her that sometimes you are not allowed to share Jesus and that they might not allow her. I remember the smile as she pranced to school, standing for Christ and knowing that there was a chance that it may not work, yet she was going to try anyway. She bounced with Joy all the way to school.
THE BLESSED CHILD
Can you imagine the strength of a blessed child
As he tries to walk like Jesus and grow
To take in all the pain and suffering in the world
With a heart as pure as snow
Trying to walk like their fathers in faith
In a world that can be so cruel
It’s enough to bring a Christian man to tears
What’s a babe in Christ to do
The strength that is takes to understand
Anything that is not known to their Godly given path
These are the things they learn in the world
Not just Reading , History and Math.
Then there is the news of the world
That comes crashing in
As hard you try to protect their hearts
From the world of sin
And then there is the little witnessing heart
Though it may be against the ( someone’s) rules
With backpack, crayons and reading book
And God’s word their favorite tool.
For their strength, it comes from the power of Christ
and in minutes it is easy to see
Their talk, their walk, their smile in life
is aimed ETERNALLY.
Oh how they love to soak in Gods house
Oh, what a safe haven it brings.
Til they fill up with his love to go
Shine for the World.
Oh my , how the ANGELS MUST SING!
