We can pretend no more that our elected officials represent the will and welfare of the people. In the most recent display of power elite ruling to protect the career of one of their own and therefore their own personal access to ‘Justice’. How could we expect them to rule against their personal interest? New Jersey needs to wake up.
In a recent move to oust a Dangerous Judge in New Jersey, the power of the people speaking truth to power has gone unheard or rather excerpt by politicos protecting one of their own. Insuring the life time seat of a Judge who has proven to protect the interests of entitled and wealthy men in our society at the expense of a vulnerable population of Women and Children.
100’s of activists both within New Jersey and Nationally participated in the Tenured Appointment of Judge Paul Escandon. To say that this Judge and the actions taken today may very well represent a personal and political war on women, hardly goes far enough. To ignore 100’s of citizen complaints, of bias and malfeasance towards mothers and their children resulting in the abuse and death is nothing short of collusion and corruption at its finest. This kind of impunity for abusive men is being documented across the county resulting in Recall events in California and Tenure Sanctions in Michigan.
Several Groups have testified to the improper and dangerous decisions of Judge Escandon. https://www.facebook.com/RemoveJudgePaulEscandonOffTheBench/?fref=nf
To ignore the cry’s for leadership and protection by our elected officials is absolute tyranny and calls for us to acknowledge that Women are still considered second class citizens in this nation, considered property of men and their voices continue to be ignored for just this reason…there are no constitutional rights granted to women and the legal system was created by men for the protection of men. The only semblance of victims rights are only at the convenience and rather a show of support and not real advocacy.
Let’s be clear we can not expect Judges to uphold the rights of women until the Equal Rights Amendment is Ratified in the USA and therefore the protection of women’s rights to protection, justice and custody rights of the children they birth. The power structure holding on to this white male supremacy must be overturned including Dangerous Judges that reward bullies and criminals. If this is not a clear example of male superiority in this society nothing is.
When Freedom Riders Oppose Judges Reappointment they garner respect of their community. Let them not lose faith, there will be a day when the people’s voices will be heard and that day is coming. One of the most outspoken Victims Advocates and Educators is Patrice Lenowitz of the Nurtured Parents Support Group, a peer-to-peer support group for adult survivors of Domestic Violence, lead the charge to oppose Judge Paul Escandon she writes-
“The action we take here today will be noticed in other courts,” (senator) Cardinale said. “And if we approve tenure for this guy, who committed this atrocity, the message we will send is: No matter how bad you are (as a judge), the (New Jersey) Senate will approve your tenure.” http://www.app.com/story/news/local/courts/2016/06/23/paul-escandon-new-jersey-senate-monmouth-county-family-court/86303020/
Our judicial system has lost its capacity to be merciful and just. We have a system that treats you better if you are a rich and guilty man than if you are an abused and victimized woman or child. More often than not, wealth, not accountability, shapes outcomes in domestic violence and child sexual abuse cases. How could this be so?
Perhaps it’s because gender inequality was never adequately dealt with in this country. Looking back at America’s origin, women and children had the presumption of a lower status, and were considered property. It is astonishing that this “presumption” has been passed down generation after generation, and has the power to wreak havoc like weeds sprouting up all over our judicial system today.
Friends, when our family courts fail an abused woman or child, it promotes chaos, and that chaos is at the cost of providing public safety, health, and wellbeing.
The injustice of this senate vote, and the manner in which the senate judiciary chair circumvented the public is, well, dispiriting. But is not the end. In fact, it is just the beginning.
I encourage you to stand up with me and speak out as we work together to advance the rights, safety, health and wellbeing of our nation’s women and children.

As a civil society we cannot remain silent on such important issues. When it comes time to cast your vote New Jersey don’t forget, don’t forget who they are protecting and why our society is becoming increasingly more violent. We need greater leadership and concern for the welfare of the people.
Time to file complaints with the FBI and Department of Justice. https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/investigate/corruption, they take Public Corruption By Elected Officials & Judges Very Seriously!

ERA quite simply establishes gender equality under the law. The amendment reads as follows: “Section 1. Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex. Section 2. The Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article. Section 3. This amendment shall take effect two years after the date of ratification.”
The new poll shows that Americans–by 94%– Overwhelmingly Support the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) — while 80% of Americans mistakenly believe that men and women are already guaranteed equal rights in the U.S. Constitution. http://www.prnewswire.com/…/breaking-americansby-94—overw…
