The survey is designed to learn more about the experiences of domestic violence victims in family court. Recent research has indicated a growing trend in family court regarding lack of understanding or child custody and visitation decisions that might put children at risk for future abuse. The purpose of this study is to learn more about the experiences of mothers who are fighting for or who have fought for custody of their children against an alleged abuser.
This project focuses on how well child protection and family violence concerns are resolved. The survey should only take a few minutes of your time and your participation will be greatly appreciated.
This survey part of an educational class and is designed to gather information from the public, involved individuals and professionals regarding their knowledge of, and experiences in, family court.
All responses are completely anonymous and the data collected will be used to improve our court watch project.
